Outcomes
Of child care facilities with current 3-, 4- or 5-star ratings that participate in Quality Improvement Grant program designed to maintain their current star rating, X% of child care facilities, at a minimum, maintain their star rating based on a DCD assessment conducted during the current fiscal year.
Of the child care facilities that participate in the Quality Improvement Grant program to increase a facility’s star rating, X% of child care facilities applied to the Division of Child Development (DCD) either a) for, at least, a 3-star license OR b) to increase star rating by at least 1-star – whichever results in the higher star rating – by June 30, 2008
Of the child care facilities that applied for a higher star rating, X% of child care facilities received a) a 3-star rating for the first time or b) a higher star rating by January 31 following the fiscal year ended June 30, 2008 (January 31, 2009).

When direct teaching staff enroll in for-credit courses, X percent of teaching staff earn at least, 3 semester credit hours in early childhood or early childhood-related courses with a 2.0 grade point.
X of children will be enrolled in 1-5 star   rated child care centers that have 4 or 5 lead teacher education points.
X% of children will be enrolled in 1-5 star rated child care centers that have 4 or 5 administrator education points.
X% of children will be enrolled in 1-5 star rated family child care homes that have 4 or 5 education points.

3.4 Teachers in regulated child care programs are compensated at a rate comparable to public school teacher staffing with equivalent education and education in the county. {TEACHER COMPENSATION}
