Executive Assistant
The Executive Assistant reports to the PFC President, provides administrative support for the Board Chair and the Board of Directors, supports the effective and efficient operation of the PFC office, coordinates the functions of the Board, and assists the President with daily duties and scheduling the organizational calendar. The Executive Assistant is responsible for coordinating and providing auxiliary support for the PFC committees.
The Executive Assistant serves as the assistant to the President and provides information to the President by acting as the liaison between the President and staff, Board members, and members of the community. As a liaison to the President, composes correspondence and memorandums; arranges conferences; interprets administrative policies; relays instructions and policy and procedural decisions; The Executive Assistant maintains the calendar of the President and supports the Leadership Team.
The Executive Assistant provides support to the Board Chair, the Board of Directors, and the PFC Committees by acting as the chief liaison between members and staff, coordinating scheduled and called meetings, corresponding with members to ensure that members are notified of meetings and informed of meeting contents through agendas and packets, maintaining a member database, and ensuring accurate and concise minutes are maintained of all meetings held. The Executive Assistant is primarily responsible for Executive and Board Development Committees. The Executive Assistant maintains the corporate files of the organization, updates the Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws as amended by the Board, assists the Board Chair and committee chairs by ensuring all rules and regulations are adhered to as stated in the Bylaws. The Executive Assistant informs Board and Committee members through the compilation of executive summaries and reports based on information provided by other staff and committee members.
Qualifications: Associates Degree or equivalent supplemented with training in typing/word processing, spreadsheet, desk top publishing; prefer an individual who is competent in using the Microsoft Windows XP Operating System and Office 2007 suite of applications; minimum typing speed; 70 NWPM.
Minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible secretarial or clerical/administrative experience. Hiring Range: $33,015 - $37,142.
