Services
The Partnership for Children of Cumberland County, Inc. supports child care
providers in order to enhance the availability, accessibility,
and quality of child care. We offer the
following resources and services to child care professionals…
- OPENING A CHILD CARE BUSINESS : We provide technical assistance in starting up child care.
- IMPROVING QUALITY: We provide Quality Improvement Grants (QIG) to enable licensed facilities in Cumberland County to achieve 3 stars or higher license and/or national accreditation.
- PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Child care professionals can call our “warm line” at 860-2277 to contact our experienced staff waiting to answer any questions or give information on child care issues.
- TRAINING CALENDAR: We provide quality information on training in your area, child development, managing business and much more.
- FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS : We provide excellent information on applying for grants, scholarships, and financial assistance to meet providers needs.
- USDA FOOD PROGRAM: Information on the USDA Food Program
- LINKS TO LICENSING AND OTHER RESOURCES
Licensing Requirements
- SUPPORT: Provider Services supports and develops child
care associations and networks.
- ADVOCACY: We advocate
on child care issues including zoning ordinances, working
environment, salary and wages.
- LENDING LIBRARY: Providers can access the resource lending library to check out books, videos, or tapes for fresh ideas, classroom activities, training and much more to serve you!
- REFERRALS TO CHILD CARE BUSINESS: We provide child care programs with parent referrals.
