Planning, Developent & Communication's primary tools to advance PFC's mission are grant making resources. In addition, we recognize that we have both the ability and the obligation to leverage these grant making investments, when appropriate, with other strategies and approaches.
PD&C can play a key role in touching lives and changing communities . . . one grant at a time by:
- using its ability to bring together partners to promote effective grantmaking through peer networking
- harnessing its technological capacity to improve access to useful and accurate information about grant opportunities for Cumberland County
- by tapping its brokering capacity to create linkages and facilitate, collaboration between groups that strengthen proposed programs.
Through these activities, we feel we can add value above and beyond PFC's grants to individual organizations.
